As surfers, we always feel a longing for a primitive “feral” surf experience. This don’t necessarily mean that you cant add a bit of comfort to the experience, but when it comes to being in the water nothing beats the feeling of only sharing the point with your mates and a possible pod of resident dolphins.
Add the fact that the water will be crystal clear, between 22 and 30’C and you are quick to realize that you found paradise!
Overview
Our Surf trips are guided by some of the best local knowledge in Thongaland. Depending on conditions and sand on the points, your guide will take you to the best points or beach breaks on the specific day and tide.
In our area we have 7 different breaks to choose from and the knowledge of your guide will save you the time of getting lost trying to get from spot to spot on the 4X4 sand tracks.
Guests are accommodated in comfort in double en-suite units and delicious vegetarian meals are served.
As we all know, conditions are not always in your favor. If the surf don’t play its part we have lots of alternative activities to keep guests busy.
These activities include some palm wine tasting with the local Thonga brewers, exceptional snorkeling, turtle tours, fly fishing or even a visit to Tembe Elephant Park for the day.
